Taburet is the word we grew up with for the stool in every kitchen.

Lives at the kitchen island. Long breakfasts, homework, the conversation while someone else cooks. The paper cord seat has a little give to it, which makes it comfortable enough to stay awhile.
Solid hardwood frame, traditional joinery and a 64cm seat height for a standard 90cm island bench. The whole stool tucks neatly under the benchtop.
